Buildaverse Is Back
This is our first official announcement since bringing Buildaverse back, and we’re excited to finally start sharing what’s coming.
Buildaverse originally began development back in 2022, and after some time away, we’re returning with a much clearer direction, a stronger vision, and a better understanding of what we want this platform to become.
This time around, we’re focused on building something that feels like its own world. Not just a website, not just a sandbox, and not something trying to copy or compete with anyone else. Buildaverse is being built with its own identity, its own community, and its own future.
One of our biggest focuses right now is improving player identity, customization, and the overall quality of items across the platform. We want your avatar to actually feel like you, not just a default character with limited options.
With that said, Bean is officially back and will be bringing new high-quality avatars, clothing, textures, and customization options to Buildaverse.
What’s coming:
• New and improved avatars
• New clothing options
• Default starter outfits for new players
• Basic shirts and hoodies
• Pants, shoes, and everyday clothing items
• Higher-quality player hats and accessories
• Better textures and cleaner item designs
• More customization options over time
• A high quality open-world game.
• A new and easy to use game studio and world client.
Our goal is to make sure players have solid options from day one. Some clothing will be available for free when signing up, while other affordable items will be available in the shop during beta as we continue building out the economy and marketplace.
This is also part of the larger Buildaverse direction. Before we expand into full user-generated worlds and creation tools, we want to make sure the core experience feels good first: avatars, clothing, shopping, social features, customization, and the open-world hub.
Buildaverse is not just coming back as a website. We’re building a world players can actually step into, explore, customize themselves in, and grow with.
The website is open in beta now:
https://buildaverse.com
You can register and begin using the site right now. Please keep in mind that the site is still heavily in development, so bugs, unfinished features, and ongoing changes are expected. If you run into any issues, please report them as we continue improving the platform.
As Buildaverse develops, we want ongoing feedback on the direction we’re taking. We want to know what excites you, what you want to see, what feels right, and what could be improved. We want to make decisions that are genuinely in the best interest of the Buildaverse community.
